update
it's been awhile since i've been bloggering, so i thought i'd give it a whirl this evening.
superbowl sunday was fun . . . . looooong day, but fun. sang at church (always a hoot with my fellow lungs), held a vocal rehearsal for the upcoming Mikrut-Russell merger, and then sang some more. i met up with liz and chris for our favorite superbowl party (a much pleasanter gp experience than my last). i even wore a girly shirt (yes, it's true, i purchased a girly shirt . . . AND wore it in public . . . chilling). i ate a lot. wasn't too impressed with the commercials this year.
also, i WON something at said party!
what do you think, dwight and jenny? a loser-prize to rotate?
i just can't bring myself to try sudoku. i love puzzles, and i adore numbers, but i just refuse. i'm addicted to the world's longest crossword puzzle right now. we had gotten it for my sister for christmas (it's 21 feet long) and it now occupies the wall in our hallway. the best thing about it is that once it's done, the center line contains an entire speech by JFK (i forget which one). i have this ominous feeling that lisa and i will have it memorized. it's funny, whenever i know the answer to something she doesn't, she says i'm a freak! "how do you KNOW that?! you're such a freak."i'm reading DUNE. ike lent it to me, and i am eternally grateful. i'm about halfway through. i've set aside my superhuman reading powers and am taking my time to read it. (call me crazy, but when i read a book in a day, there's no digestion.) my mom, huge sci-fi fan, loves it and i'm surprised i never read it before. so far i think it's great. there's so much going on and it's just plain good; G O O O D, good. can't wait to see sting in the movie.
only six more days 'til MUTEMATH at the intersection! if you haven't gotten your tickets yet...then...it's a good thing you can buy them there. february 13th. vedera is opening, and i will say this: i cannot get enough.
thanks to camp jeep, my final suggestion for the day is molly venter. you can easily listen on itunes. (and, kate, she's from texas! yeehaw)
chris is home.
i'm out.
