i smell tennis in the air

i removed windows and spread 20 miles of jeep cheer today.

i got a thumbs-up from a young pedestrian.

bantam encountered only one other of his kind, but it had a hard top and ignored us.
i'm sure he was just jealous.

i did good and checked my tranny fluid. i was also good and cleaned out my car. unfortunately, i cleaned it out before i checked fluid. by the time bantam was running and ready to go, i had no rags. i was too lazy to shut it off and run upstairs, so i just used my shirt.

don't worry. it's not a shirt i wear in public. in fact, i'm shocked i even wore it out in the parking lot. it'll work well for future fluid checks. while i'm wearing it of course.

i've cleaned and organized my study today. i feel so orderly now. for those of you coming back for treasure hunt news, the date is june 24th. saturday. tentative time 1-6. basically it'll be an afternoon affair, ending in the evening, with food to follow (to be provided).

mostly that's so i will be able to get to bed on time. this past week we've been going to bed around 9:30-10:00. and then we've been getting up really early, mostly so chris can leave for work. along with my abstinence from coke this lenten season, this is contributing to some real feelings of well-being. i feel very good. i'm a little chilly after traipsing around the Grrrr window-less at the moment, but i also feel very aired-out. it's good to be alive :)

now i'm off to perform my stretches and mantras before an evening at the wades. see the belt...be the belt...win the belt...
