next hunt

my typing job from -- you know the place -- is finally done. i have some proofing yet to do on it, but otherwise my little fingers can finally rest. i do have a dep this afternoon, but it won't be anything compared to the hulk i just finished.

ever notice how the big things put the small things in perspective?

still disappointed at our close loss friday night (2-1). i was definitely not in the best possible shape for such a confrontation. the woolly wades get to display their championship belt yet again. but just you wait...when you least expect it...

for any of you angry at my lack of follow-through on promising to post treasure hunt details last week (or was that two weeks ago?) i apologize and summarily blame it all on the hundreds of pages my exhausted little fingers were responsible for.

the date of the next hunt, "The Spirit of '76", (an amazing race style thrill ride) will be in June (exact date to be set soon). work on it will officially commense this weekend, and registration info will be available here by next Monday, March 13).

there will be at least one or two other hunts happening this summer, so check the website for new info. or to stay on top of it, see the website to joining the mailing list. those of you who requested to be on the list will start receiving updates on 3/13. :)

toodles!

fret not on the close decision from friday last. being only a three round affair, i am able to take little pride in our narrow victory. hopefully time will soon be made available for a truly epic confrontation that is worthy of our most valiant efforts. a true, shall we say, "Battle of the Clans"

Hi Marie,

Just wondering: Did anyone eat that sax-o-ma-phone cookie yet?
Because I like sax-o-ma-phone cookies.

i like the sound of "epic confrontation"...and if it be a "battle of the clans," you have to wear a kilt.
