t minus two days and counting

i do not fear the tri-deca milestone. bring it on, time.

i think it's hilarious (and fitting) that i now have three gray hairs. i just noticed the third today. it's fantastic! i wouldn't dream of pulling them out.

while christopher has three more months before his tri-deca hour, we are both noticing how we are changing...or more appropriately HAVE changed and are just now realizing it. a good amount of it centers around today's youth...the way they act, dress, music they listen to, et cetera. we don't get it. does anybody else feel like they're turning into their parents?! holy crap. did anybody else swear they never would??!!!! sheesh.

but i will not go quietly into that dark night. some things have changed, mainly priorities and responsibilities....others will never change, like my patheticness at disc golf and bowling...and my abiding love for staples (the store) ...though i DO have a stockpile of staples that will probably outlast my grandchildren...but that's another story...

'nuff said! i'm taking monday off to hit the road with bantam, do some reflecting, and maybe get my free birthday dinner at mcguires.
