affirmation (not the savage garden kind)
it's been an affirming week for me musically. there's nothing like positive feedback and encouragement from people you respect and trust, and who also intimidate you.
anyway, that said, I've been working on and developing some new music. I don't have anything for everyone to hear just yet, but know that it's coming. along with a slew of other changes.
so the title of the post reminds me that someone (ahem...you know who you are -- or I should say, you know who your mr. is...) has our savage garden cd's. that's right people, I'm not ashamed to admit that I miss them. they're not even in our itunes, that's how long someone has had these cd's!
i hate it when I help someone out and my work does more harm than good. i'm disappointed when that happens, and just a little worried than I will no longer be asked to help. which would ruin my week. (figuratively)

I do indeed know who my Mr. is. Tell you what - I'm going to assume that every. single. Savage Garden CD in our possession belongs to YOU and will put them in a big, enormous box (for that is what it will take to give you back everything that's yours!) Do we have anything else of yours? Remind me. Ask Chris if we ever gave back his Wedding Crashers DVD, because I can't remember.
I'm so sorry. Never lend us anything ever again. (Tho I won't take responsibility for the SG CDs, since that apparently happened long before my time!!!)
hehehe actually, it's only two cd's :) I had forgotten about them until I typed this post! I think you still have wedding crashers...
and don't worry...we still have things we borrowed from other people, too... and we still haven't watched The Jerk, Ike!
we're sad, sad borrowers. :P
I've solved the mystery. Josh didn't realize that Wedding Crashers didn't belong to us and lent it to Matt Dennis. I've talked to Matt and we'll be getting it back this weekend.
So not only do we borrow your stuff and keep it for years, we lend it out to other people. I think we should officially get the Sad, Sad Borrower trophy.
ehhehee
but what should the sad, sad borrower trophy BE?!
it should be a wet noodle
Indeed, Kate...a very large, very wet noodle.
