from 3/20/07

last night i introduced my friend, Jen, to the wonder that is Design 1. and now her hair looks super healthy and positively beautiful. here is a picture of her son, zane, with "Frank" and "Flower" inside a local car dealership (that shall remain unnamed because the place is evil).

after wanting to tear off one of the fronds (which I informed him it was a living thing and would be the same as if I tore off one of his fingers) he decided to be its friend and then asked me to name it. i apparently was in a VERY creative mood and came up with "Frank." when I asked him to name Frank's buddy, he came up with "Flower."


I'm working on a project right now that has unexpectedly led to some insight into myself and how I relate to other people on a purely subconscious level. it's still a little raw and exposed in my awareness, and so I'm not exactly sure how to proceed in dealing with it or changing it, or what I should do with this epiphery (thank you, michael scott).

at the very least, it's stupefying how complex we as humans are, and how certain parts of our character or development bleed into other aspects of our nature unbeknownst to us.
