i'll procrastinate tomorrow

in looking over my last post, and my freaking awesome sister, i was looking at one of the pictures to see if close-up we look alike in any ways. we have different noses (mine even has a freckle on the end), the same lips (though my smile is crooked on one side) . . . and then I got totally distracted by a memory. when I was a sophomore in college I called my dorm room when I wasn't there (obviously) to leave a message for my roommate. i got back to the dorm room before she did, so I listened to the message. as I listened to it I remember thinking, "why did my sister call my roommate?!" so my sister and i sound the same . . . but you can't see that in the picture. I remember once I was walking up to her apartment at calvin and someone walking out actually said to me, "Oh! You must be lisa's sister!" and I hadn't said a word. maybe we just have some weird sisterly vibe we give off, or absurd aura or something.

last Saturday night I had the distinct pleasure of singing with a bunch of other swell humans. we were just a little back-up choir, but that really is why it's fun. beforehand there was much rejoicing over soda bread and shepherd's pie at The Black Rose.

that's it. those are really all my pictures from that evening. I fear I talked them up too much . . . I'll try to do better next time. my husband was supposed to take pictures of us all singing, but claims he was mesmerized and completely forgot he was supposed to take pictures. :P a likely story I say, but forgivable nonetheless.
