Here's how you play....once you have been tagged, you have to write a blog with ten random facts, habits, or goals about yourself. At the end, choose ten people to tag, listing their names and why you chose them; don't forget to leave a comment on their page letting them know "tag you're it". You cannot tag the original people/person back that tagged you first, but let them know when you have posted so they can read your blog.

1. When I was a kid I had a hamster named Whiskers. He was also the main character in a book I attempted to write called "Hamsterdam."

2. The last time I recorded an album was four years ago. I haven't done anything with it yet. I've only just recently started making plans to finish it.

3. I have a freckle on the end of my nose.

4. I love stores that specialize in office supplies. I could wander around staples or office max for hours just looking and dreaming and coming up with "reasons" to buy stuff. I mean, who doesn't need to reorganize their filing cabinet every month?!

5. Driving calms me down. Whether I'm angry, excited, sad or just wound up, driving centers me. I think more clearly. I don't have to drive to a specific location or any particular distance...just around for awhile.

6. I put a ridiculous amount of time into composing e-mails (or silly lists) because I'm constantly worrying about how I worded it, or if it's serious enough, or if something could be taken wrong, or if I'm being too crazy, or if I sound boring, or if it's unnecessarily complicated, or any number of things. Even if it asks for just a "yes" or "no," I way overthink my response. If it's an e-mail about something I'm organizing, it's possible I've been drafting it for weeks.

7. I'm named after my two grandmothers: Marie - a version of Mary, which was my Grandma DeYoung's middle name. Alice - my Grandma Sheldon's first name.

8. I'm perfectly comfortable and confident going to movies all by myself or eating dinner at a restaurant alone.

9. If I'm at the hairdresser or in a waiting room somewhere, I make sure to read at least one article in a sports magazine. I always learn something interesting, and then when I talk to Chris about it later he thinks I'm really hot.

10. I can type 129 words a minute.

Diane - because we know the same people and somehow have never hung out yet
Piscin - because she's not human.
