cheap therapy
it's funny how good you feel when you make small changes. i don't know if it's an aversion to consistency or just a need for constant change, but both chris and i suffer from this malady. hehe
but it IS like cheap therapy! when i'm in a rut, if i just reorganize my files, rearrange my study or clean out the closet and move stuff around, i just feel like i've aired out my soul; everything just seems fresh and new all of a sudden.
it's strange. don't i know it. but tonight chris felt the urge to rearrange our bedroom. i had the urge yesterday (but resisted it because i didn't feel like working that hard) but he took care of it tonight. (bravo!) it's like getting the look and feel of brand-new stuff without the expense :)
and you get that rejuvenating exhileration of having accomplished something tangible. i'm ALL about the tangible end-result.
my other cheap therapy trick is going for a drive. works every time. mad, sad, excited, bored, frustrated, anxious, happy-go-lucky, whatever...cruising isn't just for the kids. top up or top down, good music LOUD -- will cure whatever ails me. :D

hmmm... for me it is baking something gooey and chocolate... of course that is what I do when I am in a really good mood too. Those darn emotional lines are so blurry.
I like playing loud music and just farting around on the computer, play some on line poker or some other easy, cheap activity. Anything that allows me to play lots of loud music on Musicmatch. I find that good music in an of itself can totally change my mood.
Remember, 6 days until feast time!
