the spirit of '76

well, friends, it's a new year and a new season for thrilling treasure hunts and scavenger chases. one is in the works for spring (late april or early may) and the official website will be updated as soon as there is a date set...or i become anti-lazy and post some fun info to stir up the crazy excitement.

until that moment never comes, here is what it's all about:

this year many people i know (including myself and I) will be turning 30. in honor of this opprobrious milestone, this spring's treasure hunt is entitled:

The Spirit of '76

what to expect: the general theme will be in reference to the 30 years immediately past . . . including everyone's favorite decade, the 80's.

of special note: you do not need to be turning 30 this year to be able to play. all are welcome!

HISTORY IN THE MAKING:
also, i will be introducing a new element and bragging right to this world of treasure hunting: basically a "stanley cup" of treasure hunts. that's right, a freakishly large cup that will bear the details of your glorious victory. it will of course have a fabulous and thrilling name, sonething that will roll off the tongue inspiring awe and wonder whenever it is spoken.

i thoroughly enjoy the significance of names. at this time a name has not yet surfaced. if you have any thoughts or ideas, feel free to comment. the chosen name will be announced no later than 5 minutes prior to hunt time.
