yesterday I had the opportunity to have lunch with two people I absolutely adore, my fellow lungs, alan and suzanne. they each had a child with them, which oddly enough was really fun for me (being terrified as I am of little persons -- and so gives me hope for my future in the land of motherdom)

<--- as lunch was winding down, alan's son neven (with little encouragement necessary from his dad) decided to take the panera bag for a test drive. I honestly cannot get the images of him hopping and spinning around (using the bag like one would in a good old-fashioned sack race) back and forth across the booth bench.




then when alan asked him to put his coat on, this ----> is what he did and said, "This is my coat." yeah....nothing at all like his dad. silly pelicans.
