beautiful bantam by beaners
you know how some people have these quests they're on, like visiting all the major league ballparks, or all the castles in scotland, or collecting shot glasses from everywhere? yeah, I think I may have to start my own quest of visiting every beaners there is. wouldn't that be fun?!
I had a job assignment in holland today, so I decided to leave early, park myself at beaners (I found one!) and get some work done before going to my dep. also, I planned to get to the site early in order to talk to a secretary and do my marketing thing. here's the view from my table: 
so what happens?! 15 minutes ago my work calls to inform me my dep in holland cancelled, and I'm being reassigned back in Grand Rapids. oh well, it was a nice plan. so I'm getting ready to head back home. it's never a waste when there's sun to be had!
and while I wait for my next assignment, here is the view from the new beaners on byron center, off M-6. I just heard one of the clerks say "billy has his beer goggles on." what kind of beaners is this?! where am i?!?!

At one point my friend Sarah and I jokingly made it our mission to take a road trip and visit every IKEA in North America.
What happened to that plan???
For now, I'm content collecting souvenir refrigerator magnets with built-in thermometers from my friend Marnee's travels. I bring them back for her, too. It's kinda our thing. I have one from PRAGUE!
