Chris and I had lunch at a local establishment the other day. This is what we saw from the parking lot. hehehee
















So i'm on my way downtown today, and i decide to take Lake Drive. Unfortunately, this had happened (probably yesterday -- it was so windy i swear i almost flew out of my vehicle on the highway) so i had to do the old turnaround and take a route i don't like near as much. by the time i drove home (having completely forgotten about the obstruction) it was all taken care of, and there was a consumers power truck or something parked there, apparently taking care of the power line. yay, consumers power!



in other news, the dep i took today has to be transcribed by tomorrow, so i'm in a bit of a hurry. plus i get to print the trancripts and then deliver them to court on Monday...thankfully i have nothing else going on monday. (though i am a bit disappointed i can't sleep in) i literally cheered when our scheduling department informed me of my monday schedule. it's been a long, busy, packed three weeks and i was ready for a break :) though sometimes i don't think i'm as entertaining to them as i am to myself when i do things like cheer loudly into the phone or joke about getting rained on. oh well.

and while i only gamble with the weather (that's a lie -- i love blackjack) i have completed yet another work day precipitation-free. i did drive home from a beaners fest with one of my favorite people (who shall remain nameless -- and apparently faceless)
and stepped out as it was beginning to sprinkle, but i was only three minutes from home so it doesn't really count. and besides, it gave me an excuse to drive REALLY FAST through parking lots and take SHARP CORNERS at NEARLY UNSAFE SPEEDS.
