who needs electricity?

that's right, the power's out. aaargh. not that I needed an excuse to go BACK to beaner's....

I was thinking to myself that I used to LOVE it as a kid when the power was out... but then I remembered that that always happened in the WINTER...where it's FUN to light candles and bundle up in your warm clothes.

what's sad is the power went out last month, I think, around 9:30 at night. what is up?! did I mention we're moving in a few months...

Tuesday on the white pain...I mean pine...

I finished harry potter a couple days ago. I wanted to weep when I finished it, I found it so moving, but I barely managed some lurching sobs. and now I want to reread them all.

how I love books. the bourne supremacy is next.

glorious books.

You're not a nerd - I was close to tears a couple of times in the book. Especially when Lupin & Tonks died. I thought the whole sequence when Harry was accepting his death and walking to it was just so beautiful.

The book ended the way I would've wanted them to - emotionally - and yet Harry lives. So, I am appreciative.

The only problem I have is picturing Harry with Ginny - mostly because the girl they cast in the movie just doesn't seem as charasmatic as she needs to be for Harry - but when I picture my own Ginny - that helps.

Order of the Phoenix is my favorite - although, after some though - I think I might like Deathly Hallows & Order equally.

Hope all is well! Love to you and Chris!

-D.

GREAT. I just read the above comment and have not yet read the book. Thank whoever that was for being a total SPOILER!

That being said, can I borrow your copy? I swear, swear, SWEAR you will get it back promptly.

SHIT - I was afraid of that just after I wrote it - but it was impossible for me to delete it or mark it as a spoiler alert once it has posted. I'm SO SORRY!!!

I guarantee you that you will still love the book. There are so many intricacies that I didn't mention which make the difference when you read it.

That's okay...I didn't mean to be harsh...at least you only mentioned Lupin and the other secondary character (see? I already forgot one! Hooray!). Encourage Marie to lend me the book - that's how you can make it up to me, ha ha!

sure you can borrow my copy... however, you will be required to sign a release form and provide a security deposit and also swear under oath (I can do that) that it will be returned.

;)

and glad I'm not alone, dana :) I think this is my favorite one, maybe partly because it's been so long since I read the previous ones! I think the last couple chapters were what got to me most... and how brilliantly clever it all was, of course.

by the way, if you haven't seen it, you need to see the movie "Once" that came out today with glen hansard. stunning.

I will do all of the above AND return Wedding Crashers AND your Painty Twin pen, which has been in my purse for a week now...
