trying to quit...and the season's first
i have an addiction. it's not particularly shameful, but it sometimes is a little embarrassing, especially when chris points it out and shakes his head. i had been abstaining for awhile, but the other day i got a little carried away.
i like to take pictures of my cat.
but she's so cute! and freaking funny!
and I swear I know what she's thinking.
usually once I take one picture, I end up sitting around for a good half hour at least trying to get just the right angle, or her to turn just such a way...it's quite sad really. but hilarious when it turns out right!
the first christmas tree sighting of the season!!
there's really only one drawback to driving a jeep. you're not exactly "protected" from the elements... and it especially sucks when you're wearing a black suit and all of a sudden dust is blowing in because there's construction going on across the street... it's not dandruff, really!!
last but not least, we move in four days. it's terribly exciting, especially since we have made some giant strides in minimizing and simplifying. we started packing last week and had to stop because there really wasn't much more to do until closer to the move. it's a new feeling for us. so far the weather does NOT look like it's going to be much of a help. but regardless we're ready to paint rooms yellow and apple red (not redrum like my last little office room...and I promise the walls won't look like they're bleeding!)

you know, it's cool you mention the lack of packing needed for your current mood. its exactly what happened to us. jenny stressed out for a full week while getting the initial packing done. then about 4-5 days before we moved she realized she was pretty much done until the night before we left. it was a new feeling for both of us.
can't wait to see the new place. sorry we couldn't help out with the actual move. we'll be happy to help break in the new place though!
