hehehe

last week chris' parents were up in grand rapids for a seminar. after their seminar they were going to come over and pick up a shelf that we won't have room for in our new apartment.

they called me when they were done so as to get directions to our apartment. I was at beaners (obviously) so drove home right away to meet them. their seminar was a lot closer than I originally thought.

as I pulled in the drive to our complex I got another call. my father-in-law was so hungry he couldn't wait anymore, so they stopped at a subway and wanted to know if I could join them. of course I could, so I pulled a quick u-ey in the driveway and got there in a couple minutes.

as we're standing in line and ordering, just chit chatting about their seminar and being a little goofy, as we all are, the subway guy said THE funniest thing to us.

He looked at us after a while and said, "Are you all related? Because I see a resemblance..."

oddly enough...NONE of us are blood relatives...we're all technically related by marriage!!!

I think we made the subway guy feel kind of bad for how hard we all laughed, but it was a sweet thing to say. :)
