a rare moment

i don't often yell at the tv.  i've never put a video on my blog.  and i don't often watch award shows.  but chris had the academy awards on tonight, and more than once i went over to the sofa to watch what was going on.  i was rapt watching glen hansard and marketa irglova perform "falling slowly" from the movie "once."  if you haven't seen this movie, or listened to the amazing soundtrack, here is their performance from tonight.  

and yes, i yelled loudly and cheered when they WON best original song, beating out three songs nominated from the movie "enchanted" (which you should also see, if you haven't already ;)   

and jon stewart was the best host ever.

seriously.
