family time = food

lunchtime sunday we ventured to monelli's on byron center ave. we'd never been there, and it seemed a fun place to check out, so we all met there before mom and dad headed back home.

lisa is one of the most energetic people I know (bass player evan has her beat, though) and no one was safe as she began attacking her fettucine alfredo (including herself). the big talk around the table involved cell phones... mom learning how to send pictures, everyone taking pictures, showing everyone else, and dad making very subtle funny faces. our waitress was fantastic, and even though they didn't have mexican food (but the other monelli's does...) we all had good food, and some of us (dad) cleaned up more than his share of plates.

would you believe that when we were kids, you couldn't MAKE my sister's hair curl? now it's ridiculous. and the last time I tried to grow my hair out because I missed my curls, it was dumb. I think you can count on the short 'do for a long time to come.

for some reason they made me sit next to this joker.

it's been a long weekend, but we had fun. and someone changed scrabble history. (at least for the time being) I don't think piscin liked that we were gone so much... but that's okay. maybe she started thinking about updating her blog...
