things I learned tonight

dwight is the biggest hockey playoff fan we know. due to the fact that this is new knowledge, and given my previous post on the subject, we may have inadvertently caused him to seriously reconsider our friendship!



but I just learned that detroit has emerged victorious, so maybe he'll let it slide...



the standard faucet water sprayer is NOT an effective method for killing the huge-@$$ bug that sprang out from the depths of the kitchen sink where it was lying in wait to ambush me. it is, however, a great way to get water everywhere (read: on the overhead light fixture, as well as on top of and all over the fridge). In case you're wondering, the kitchen towel IS an effective mutant insect destroyer if the traditional fly-variety-swatter is not readily available.



and now that my heart rate is back to normal, I return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
