just another day
while these images enrage some people (I won't name names)(elizabeth) this is a pretty commonplace occurrence here at woodland creek. just last night as we pulled out to turn left, there was a goose just standing in the middle of the intersection. chris pulled up to it, rolled down his window and said, "Do you know how to get to the Y?" That goose was no help. that's my goose story, kate :)
dwight and jenny are in their new digs now. woohoo! my husband will be assisting in some handyman activities tomorrow...I will be there to document (and perhaps mock) the festivities ;) hehheehe
look at these beautiful girls! this is at rehearsal last week for part of The Mines' choir -- or purple rain singers (thanks ethan) or crystal cathedral singers (thanks again, ethan). we need a real name soon before we get stuck with one of those!
not much else is going on. for my work we're now being required to make marketing-type contacts when we're out on the job. this is so not anything I'm comfortable with and I am terriby unhappy about it. but what can you do? I know, it's probably surprising that I (and I admit I'm a friendly kind of person) am super uncomfortable having to request to talk to people, see if they're interested in our other services, or even just get to know someone's secretary a little bit... but I've never been good at this kind of thing. I'm just going to have to suck it up, though, because everyone else I work with is doing super at it. I hate it. so, I'm going to make an effort tomorrow. here goes nothing, guys. lord help me.

my personal choice for choir names is "the Echos" not sure of the spelling though! can somebody back me up?!
I"m sorry. Any group I am now in must be appropriately named "The Minions of Elizabeth".
