checking in
as i took care of tidying up a couple last things before going to bed tonight, i started preparing my brain to sort through the day. it was a day that contained an element of practically everything i love about life right now.
and i'm busy.
and tomorrow's horizon looks the same as yesterday's horizon.
and i started thinking about how busy i am. i started thinking about how i need to sort out my busy-ness in my head, to make sense of it, to try to organize it; everything in its right place and tidy. and i think that's part of my problem. this busy-ness just isn't going to go away, and the more i try to talk it into order and verbalize my plans to structure it, the more entangled and hopeless i feel.
when the simple fact is, if i just keep breathing i'll be okay. don't freak out, rie. everything will find its place.
so i'm drinking my glass of milk, and getting ready to crawl into bed. there's a lot going on, and i have a lot of work to do on many fronts, but it's good. i can handle it. i'm ready for it. it's exciting.
and i'm stretching and flexing, gratefully easing into the creative flow once again. work is caught up, neutering the panic of tomorrow's rush job. i embrace a relaxing evening at home as right and good, not a pleasure to be ashamed of.
talk to you again soon :)

How's this week? Rest when you can, and try to rest well.
AND, camp with the Vander Kooi's and Mulders...very, very restful. Dirt, cold showers, and fish guts. A heaven.
However, we could just play video games. I like that too. :)
